Welcome 2017

Why is it that I am writing a welcome to 2017 on January 3rd? The answer is; I managed to welcome the New Year in with a chest cold! That's right, the first three days of this year have been marked as sick days! However, even with a cold, I have managed to have a great few days filled with all of my children and family. Today is my birthday, YES, that's right! I am heading towards the middle of my 40's and not minding it a bit. I've watched Dr. Who, (Of course, I am a Whovian!) and even watched the real life version of DeathNote, thanks to my oldest daughter who is a huge lover of most things Japanese. We had cake, gifts and I have been smothered in kisses by my twins! How could I ask for more? I hope 2017 will be a wonderfully blessed year for all of us and here's to getting well soon! (clinking glasses of orange juice)
