The Little People

Who are the little people in your life? Mine would be my twins and my soon to arrive granddaughter. With Valentine's Day arriving next week and we are having a baby shower for my daughter this weekend, I have been on the run consistently. However, those I believe are the best reasons to be consistently busy! Over the next 3 days, we will be making valentines, getting class party things together, baking and decorating the baby shower cake, finishing up last minute baby shower things (my oldest daughter is hosting for her sister and I'm allowed to help!), taking another daughter to work, going to a friend's book signing, going to church, decorating and then finally having the baby shower. I'm not really sure when I will sleep, but I am holding out hope for a few hours here and there! I haven't had an opportunity to focus on my new novel as of late, but once these things are accomplished, I will be ready to get back to writing... until my granddaughter gets here! At that point, Nana will have to take a few more days off to enjoy the new blessing in the lives of our family members. We are a busy family, but if you have 24 hours in a day to spend with anyone in the world, when it really comes down to it, who else would you rather spend it with?
